Deep Well Dewatering Bluewaters Island Project JBR - Dubai

Located off the Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) coastline, “Bluewaters Island” features Retail, Residential, Hospitality and Entertainment Zones. ACTION were contracted to conduct the Dewatering activity, to enable the excavation and basement foundation works in the dry. Dewatering was required for Wharf Retail, Hospitality buildings, and Residential units. We designed and installed a Deep Well Dewatering system, comprising of 120 Deep Wells, across the island. Several Pump Tests were conducted on site prior to the installation of the dewatering system to determine the aquifer parameters, such as transmissivity and hydraulic conductivity, and data collected was used to validate the Ground Water Control system design. ACTION deployed a dedicated 24 hour Monitoring Team continuously assess system performance.
