Al Ryum Contracting & General Transport Co. LLC was founded in 1990 by a team of a few engineers in Abu Dhabi, since then, it has grown to become the flagship of the regional group of companies recognized as the Al Ryum Companies.

In October 2011, ARC opened its first corporate office in Saudi Arabia and in February 2012 in Qatar and in June 2012 in Iraq.
